He has a lot of good things going for him and I really think he’s going to be successful this year. Their staff and players are all great.”

He is really changing the culture and bringing a good vibe to Cincinnati that I really like. The facilities there are top notch and they just switched to the Big 12 and Jordan Brand, so that is also intriguing. Their campus is beautiful, and it is close to home. Their style of play is great, and I like the way they really strap down and play defense.”


Maybe it's just me. But it feels like he's more interested in UC than the other way around -- feel like he'll end up at Northwestern or Butler.

What makes you say that? Just because he gave a more complete answer than most?

UC being in his final five seems like it came out of nowhere. There doesn’t seem to be UC buzz. He is a top 150 recruit by one service and unranked 3 stars by others if I recall correctly - that just strikes me as more of a Butler or Northwestern type.
