Just saw a twitter and a pic I think of VIKTOR LAKHIN. He looks solid and has put on some muscle. I think it was him.

Leo, I think you may have seen Rehfeldt's Monster Factory pics of Jarrett Hensley. Is this the pic?

June 1 BCJ podcast - first 48 mins include discussion of Chad Brendel's insights from the first offseason workout. Worth a listen if you're starving for UC basketball content. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVciIRJcHN0

              Some nuggets (paraphrasing):
              - Dan Skillings is the only player yet to make it to campus -- sounds like he should be in Cincinnati in a couple weeks after finishing up some school work
              - Jarrett Hensley is coming off a wrist injury from the season and has been sidelined, but sounds like it's actually helped his shot mechanics
              - Hensley, Skillings, John Newman III and Ody Oguama did not partake in the pick up games (do not quote me but I thought I saw something on IG recently suggesting Ody's father may have passed - thought I saw a photo of Ody and all the coaches, DerMarr, Abdul Ado, maybe LePore in Raleigh)
              - Chad spoke highly of Josh Reed, said he looked good and will be good (not to say he's suggesting he's going to star from day one but projects to be a good player)
              - In conjunction with recent content on social media including a post from Mike Rehfeldt listing him at 7'0.5 and 235 lbs., seems like Sage Tolentino has had a great body transformation in the last few months - Chad mentioned how it seemed like Sage was perhaps destined to redshirt but may not be needed now...either way, he'll be essential for 23-24
              - Rob Phinisee sounded like he was okay, granted it can be tough for a PG to make an impact immediately when he's not a big time scorer and he's getting used to the personnel (but having followed his career at IU for four years, can't say I'm surprised he didn't wow anyone/Chad)... sounded like he did a nice job defending David
              - Chad did not hesitate to call Landers Nolley the most talented guy on the roster, sounds like a pretty dynamic scorer/player
              - Kalu Ezkipe's passing really impressed Chad, and his reputation for having a solid mid-range game did not disappoint; sounded like he fits the mold of the typical UC big from over the years
              - Had some comments on DDJ, MAW, Viktor as well -- not sure much was said about JD but I think we all know what he brings to the table and hope that added talent will lead him to shot hunt less and become more efficient
              - Sounds like the overall talent is noticeably better than last year, even without the guys mentioned above (and obviously recognizing this was just a summer workout)

No it was from the 44 second clip/ It could have been Jarrett though. I just watched it again. I think it was Vic. Look at his face he has added weight and tone. Hoping for a big year.

Rothstein reporting that, per Wes, Rob Phinisee has been fully cleared for all basketball activities. I'm guessing this is related to the plantar fasciitis issue at IU.
