Considering we just got curb stomped by NKU, I'd settle for a coherent offense before we start worrying about Quad wins. Arizona is going to maul us, if we play like last night.

Louisville lost its third straight-game to open the season, all by 1 point. Things aren't going to get easier for the Cardinals with their upcoming schedule, including a road game versus Arkansas before Maui.
All of which is to say, it is pretty important that UC find a way to win at least one of its first two games in Maui. If they were to lose the first two and face Louisville in the 7th place game, a win over the Cards could amount to very little. A potential Quad 3 win when it's all said and done. With Xavier the only other name in the non-con schedule, it would be nice to have a decent resume heading into conference play...

John Schriffen, Daymeon Fishback will call UC/Arizona in the Maui opener. Win and you get Dan Shulman/Jay Bilas in the semis. Lose and you have Schriffen/Fishback (never heard of either) the rest of the way.

Here is a new video of Andy Katz interviewing Wes Miller (7:45) in prep for the Maui Invitational -- though the interview is not very Maui-centric

Bret's right but I'm not sure you'll get as many losing teams tickets as you might think. This isn't a lose and go home tournament. There's a losers bracket and every team is guaranteed 3 games.Originally posted by ucherm View PostAnyone going to Maui ? How easy is getting tix from losing teams?
