Teams have learned that UC players do NOT navigate well with their pick-and- roll defense. UC creates too much contact by bumping into those picks. The ball handler then can break free for a drive to the rim or is presented with a wide-open shot. I would expect that UCF will use many picks today. A switching man-to-man could help UC's defense even with the mismatches that are sometimes created. It is down to DO OR DIE for UC basketball this season. It is now a series of one game championships. Regardless of the many problems with UC basketball, they need to FIND A WAY TO WIN. Enough said.

I expect this to a much tougher game than we would normally think as UCF is much better at home than on the road this season.
Viktor Lakhin is supposed to be back for this one and at this point you have to play him if you want any form of post season play after that bad loss to ECU. A loss here would move the Bearcats into a virtual 3 way tie for the 4/5 spot in the conference tourney. You don't want to be the 6 seed becuase you don't get a bye on thursday in that spot or lower.
Contain Taylor Hendricks and Win the game. Make coaching adjustments and win the game.
