This article compares the Big 12 basketball and football teams. Who was expected to finish high and who was expected to finish at the bottom. Cincinnati is … Cincinnati?

If Vik had stayed here, it might have been Wes, not Brownell getting that extension.

WVU fans have entered into conspiracy mode ... Facts are IU's top candidates were #1 Brad Stevens, #2 Dusty May, and then they were interested in the likes of Scott Drew, T.J. Otzelberger. Darian DeVries was clearly far enough down the list it's bogus to suggest they had him locked up a while -- with stuff happening back when IU and WVU played at the same event in The Bahamas in November ... now I am willing to entertain that Tucker DeVries may have sat longer than needed to maintain a medical redshirt possibility (and, thus, more NIL money next year) but I don't know.

Jeff Borzello reported that Wade & the Wolfpack have reached an agreement. How'd you like to be a McNeese State player, preparing for Clemson in The Dance, knowing your coach has bigger fish to fry?

I know Wes' buyout was large for fear big name schools might come calling, so maybe Cunningham would be seen as a genius if UC were performing a little better and Wes was a desired commodity

Been a rough 48+ hours for WVU fans ... Jerrod Calhoun, Ben McCollum will be among the discussed names

Iona has moved on from Tobin Anderson after two years -- he was the coach who led FDU over Purdue

He was .500 in two years including reaching the conference title game this season.

They're expected to hire a New Orleans (NBA) assistant.
