Last week I would have said that West Virginia will have its way with UC. However, after looking at the conference stats for both teams, I think that UC has as good a chance as WV to win this one. Both teams are coming off of three straight losses. So, as Rufus would say, somebody HAS to win this one. Here is the good thing; UC is playing at home. Here is the bad thing; UC is playing at home. UC has lost 3 of 4 at home in conference play so far. That gives UC a 75% chance of losing this one at home today. It really hurts my feelings that those are the numbers, but that is UC's reality at the moment.

Both teams have dismal conference stats. Both teams have just one player scoring in double digits in conference play. Both teams are also low turnover teams. My guess is whatever team commits the least amount of turnovers, control the boards, and get to the foul line may take the win. Let's keep in mind that UC turned Utah over 19 times and still lost the game.

If UC can get 4 players scoring in double figures today, that would really help their chances to get the win.

Not asking much for UC to beat a solid but not great WVU at home.

That Texas Tech - Houston game was a good one and was close the entire game. It was kind of confusing though watching Houston play in North Carolina blue uniforms. Speaking of NC, Duke blew them away yesterday. Duke may be for real this year.
