Now that a new coach has been named, I will close this thread.

Relax -- if this is a done deal, they are already (Evans) working on the new roster. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE a floor leader. Last night I heard the announcers mention what made Arizonia so good was a terrific FLOOR DENERAL". i WANT ONE OR EVEN TWO IN cLIFTON.

I believe the team is en route back to Utah now. So I’m assuming they have to wait to get back to campus to get everything lined up, team meeting, etc.

Fun fact if UC is to reel in Calhoun ...

Mick Cronin - Murray State was a 14 seed in the 2006 NCAA Tournament
John Brannen - NKU was a 14 seed in the 2019 NCAA Tournament
Wes Miller - UNCG was a 13 seed in the 2021 NCAA Tournament
Jerrod Calhoun - Utah State was a 9 seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament and won a game over a power conference opponent (Villanova)

Let's hope Jeff is right! I would think both sides would have already agreed to a contract and were waiting for Calhoun's season to offically end.
