A third is reasonable. A quarter would be my goal. If we can put $14 mil together I'd be happy to give Thiam 3.5.

Cory said the deep pockets are happy and his job is to get the alums back supporting the Cats. He said they were not the kitty Cats but the bearcats and time to get it back.

First of all Huggs is officially back. It is great to see.
Second, I heard both WM and CJC speeches. WM was all rah rah and spoke4 about how he had heard of the Bearcat tradition. CJC knows personally and was taught by those who made the modern bearcat tradition. No rah rah talk but simple confidence in a return to Bearcat tradition.

He mentioned all the modern greats bringing Huggs back but also Mick. I believe he may get some deep pockets back too. The hostility with the program is hopefully over.

Third. He stated that he met with K Tillery and family his first night back. Tillery was there listening and that speaks volumes. The door is open for a return. It must start with a floor leader.

There is an era of good feelings in the program now and I really think it is groovy.

Fourth He gave props to the Ohio HS coaches. He knows where the future is.
Fifth he called on the alums as he knows many of them .Eric Martin was there too,.

So much more to say but so far so good-- get your team and and bring the tradition back and just not talk about it.

    Go Cats

That was pretty neat. We shall see if he can do what he says and retain players.

Keyshuan Tillery also in attendance, Calhoun shouts him out and mentions having a great meeting with him last night -- I think he pointed him out for a reason

    - Wes was "fired up"
    - Wes was "10 toes in" or wanted guys with both feet in or something
    - Wes was "married to the game"
    - Mike Saunders was in attendance and they announced he was coming back and we were excited
    - Wes brought with him Chris LePore, his righthand man from UNCG
He only had head knowledge of what it meant to be a Bearcat. He never experienced it and thus he froze at crunch time and whined.

After watching USU play as a team, it was good to hear CJC say while at YSU. Basketball consists of 5 players playing as a team. It has been awhile since we saw that on offense, We still need the floor leader and it appears that CJC knows that much more than I do.

He also mentioned a name of a great former UC Coach- Dan Peters ---- such great memories.

    GO CATS

I don't think that's worth half of our budget. He would have to be first team all conference to earn that.
