Yes, but this is ESPN, and as we have seen they tend to get what they want. And they are determined to destroy the Big East. That whole Disney empire is as sleazy as they come, and ESPN fits right in.

Well, another negative slant article from Mr. Koch : http://news.cincinnati.com/article/2...ng-out-options

I am really getting tired of the treatment UC gets from the local rag, between Mr. Koch (no ball of fire, but when he does write something it is never positive) and that catty female Mr. Daughtery, we really get a high dose of negativity. Is there a school anywhere that competes at a high level with no hometown press? Maybe I am just upset now, but I have been sick of Koch for a long time and this is the last straw for me. When we should be extolling our positives, like media in other BE cities, we come up with reasons to tear ourselves down.

We gotta find a way to the big 12. The ACC will never be a football powerhouse conference. When all is said and done there will be 4 Super Conferences

    SEC
    B1G
    PAC?
    Big12
Yes much more valid but I think the ACC is where we will land as much as I'd like to get beat up in the BIG12 a la WVU.

Dont know how, but any way of anyone finding out who the schools were that contacted the ACC? I believe the new president is a sports fan, but i hope that he has the guts ( i was gonna go elsewhere on that phrase but thought i better not) to be able to get this school on a direction that it was going a few years back ... I would hate the last 5-8 years of hard work by alot of people go by the waiste side and end up being the forgotten school out of the BEast ...

If the Big East were a professional team, the owners would be having a fire sale. In the past two years, a total of five teams have agreed to leave the Big East (West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Notre Dame and now Rutgers)...

Travel, weather, basketball would be top conference in country, football would be at least a step up from what we have now after the defections, rivalries ,etc ...... The only thing that might put a wrench in our spokes , ND is in for all sports except football, so taking the trio might not happen because that puts bball at 17.
They may decide to go to 20 in BB by adding GT, St. Johns & Nova. Who knows where this is headed, but I agree that I hope UC contacted the ACC.

At this point nothing will suprise me...all i know is i don't know how the UC administration can allow all the progress that's been made in the last 5 years go to waste.
