Let me first say it is good to be back on this site after a long hiatus. It is a scary, but also exciting time to be a bearcat. Thanks to Lobot for helping me out.

I often forget that we still have Louisville and Rutgers in our conference through next season. With the release of the football schedule and the conclusion of the basketball regular season, it got me thinking what our conference is going to look like next year for both sports. Pardon the length of this post...

If you don't like computer rankings, sorry it is what it is. What these numbers indicate to me, yeah, there will be a drop off, but not a very big one. I think a lot of the talk about how horrible this conference will be is an overreaction for now. Obviously, this is a sinking ship for the schools that got left behind, but next year will still be very fun and seemingly very competitive. Now we definitely don't want to be around in a year when Louisville and Rutgers leave and I honestly don't believe we will be. The clock is ticking...
