read what Hugg's daughter said - She is a loving daughter and I respect that. I just don't respect all her views here.

“Now that we have had some time to process…” the post began. “I want to be the first one to say, I understand the severity of what took place. I also fully understand how it potentially could have, and does, affect so many lives. People are human and people make mistakes. We are all guilty of that in some capacity. Let’s spread love and healing and not hate to someone who bleeds Gold and Blue for all of you.”

    That’s where the niceties ended.

“To [President] Gordon Gee and your board, be better and do better,” she continued. “Throwing stones at glass houses is not how to represent such a great university. Treating someone like they don’t matter after they’ve given their whole heart and soul to your university. You could have helped but chose to turn your backs… You’re the classless ones, the cowards, the backstabbers and most of all hypocrites. Remember the 24-million-dollar practice facility that was not in any way funded by the university? The 17 million into your hospitals for cancer research? I can only pray you never make another mistake…”

She then went on to touch on her father’s recent arrest, saying the following.
“My dad is not an alcoholic. He drinks like 90% of us do and made a mistake that cost him his job… Which he didn’t deserve. He told Gordon [Gee] that he would go to rehab for a 60-day stint… Not even considered… The ‘beer cans all over the car’ were in bags… My dad collects cans to recycle… To act like he was driving around pounding beers as the media wants to portray is absolutely absurd.

“Mistakes shouldn’t overshadow all the good,” she closed. “The way it was handled disgusts me.”

Not surprised. When you have that kind of money and access, it is easy to get out of touch with reality 99% of us live.

Mad at who? He put the university in a position of no choice. Her tirade should be directed at her father for such a bad decision. He got caught this time, but how many times did he not? Every time puts not only his life, but every other drivers on the same road at risk. That girl needs to grow up.

    From Scott Springer https://www.cincinnati.com/story/spo...t/70338658007/

The likes of Tarrice Gibson, Terry Nelson, Corie Blount, Nick Van Exel, and Louis Banks will travel to Morgantown to visit their former coach

I don't because he is used to calling the shots and being the face of the coaching staff to the kids. A consulting role, with occasional practice visits, but no recruiting or official staff capacity is more suited to tapping into his talents. If he does this for a year, I can see someone giving him another shot to keep coaching with the contract including a driver.

Edit: I actually think this could work for Bob at a school other than WVU or UC. Not sure a coach/school would take the chance.

No kidding! Would have saved him a lot of headache and heartache over the years!

Agree, age is somewhat a factor, but his health would be more of a concern... He's been overweight forever, and I honestly thought he had curved drinking back. I thought after the incident at UC, Bob had learned his lesson on heavy drinking, I guess not. He's the same age as Pitino. and Rick has landed another somewhat high profile job after his checkered past.. I would think if Bob ever wanted to coach again, a smaller school would be willing to take a chance.. He should probably take a few years off and get his life in order first.

He has his State of Ohio pension plan as well.
