Jeff Goodman: Wes Miller has DeJulius and Davenport back, and has added three impact transfers — the latest being Memphis transfer Landers Nolley. Will be interesting to see what Cincinnati can do in terms of a jump next season.

Wow! I’m officially re-engaged. What’s exciting is this HUGE infusion of talent. Three new starters:
            1. Nolley becomes the best player on the team.
            2. Ezekpi is immediately the best post player.
            3. Phinisee is the starting PG
            4. DeJulius movs off the ball.
            5. I’d like to see Newman get this spot

            - Davenport is a natural 6th man.
            - Lahkin and Oguama bigs off the bench
            - I think Skillings has more talent than anyone on
last year’s roster. Could be impact freshman.
            - Hensley? Meh
            - MAW? 😳

sign Isaiah Collier, Rayvon Griffin, and or Trey Green (2 of 3) and Bearcats basketball is back.

I am optimistic. I just think of all the number 1 recruiting classes that UK has and they still suck nearly every year. I should say, underperform every year.

McKinley is class of 2024. Griffin is announcing in 2 days. Collier and Green is an either/or thing I hope.

In a bit of a rarity, per the gobearcats.com piece, Nolley already played in Maui in 2019 with VA Tech. So, he gets to go back.

The Athletic has a running list of top available players (transfers, uncommitted high school prospects). They remove guys from the list when they commit. According to the latest update, it appears Landers Nolley was #27 best available at the time of his commitment (yesterday). Now that's hard to quantify fully, because I don't know where he might rank if they combined all the 26 ranked above him and the still uncommitted players. But still solid. ... and he's ahead of Sean McNeil who was looking at UC, apparently did not actually visit, and ultimately transferred from WVU to Ohio State.

Goodman had him as the #55 transfer as of two weeks ago https://watchstadium.com/the-top-75-...23-04-14-2022/

There are lots of people rating transfers which is what happens today. All I know is the talent coming in is far superior to what we lost, and I’m excited about that.
