Reid is out of Grovetown GA. He only has a GA St. offer so far but I think more are coming. He'll be playing with the The Skill Factory team this season. Under recruited and will probably blow up as time goes by.

Friday marked 247Sports second annual trip to GBCA's Live Period event and this time around there was a bit of a shortage of national talent due to a few players sidelined due to injuries. On the positive side, a few eye catchers took advantage of the opportunity to be evaluated in front of the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Houston, Kansas State, LSU, Mississippi State, Purdue, SMU, South Alabama, UCF, and others programs. National Analyst Brandon Jenkins give his observations from day one's action:
The best performance was saved for last on Friday night. There was no doubt in anybody's mind that Derrion Reid was the top performing prospect from day one. I first heard of Reid from National Analyst Travis Branham and after his performance, it was easy to see why my colleague spoke so highly of him.
A 6-foot-7 do-it-all type of guy who can thrive at either forward spot, Reid spent a lot of his time playing with a point guard mindset offensively while taking care of business defensively. He closed out defensive possessions with rebounds, led the break, and hit pull up and catch and shoot long balls alike (five made three-pointers). Over the course of a dominant rebounding and scoring performance (29 points), he hardly managed to force an issue as his feel for finding his teammates came to light at every opportunity given.
It was a true statement performance for a player who is coming off a season that ended with his Grovetown High School team finishing as state champions. With great skill level, ideal intangibles, and a winning resume, Reid will be a lock to debut in the next ranking update for the national 2024 class.
Cincinnati added to his collection of offers that include the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, and Xavier. Many of which were in attendance for his stellar showing.

Largely being pursued by SEC schools, or so it would seem

#33 in the new Rivals 2024 rankings - not sure how involved UC is or will be, but there has been interest previously at least. If UC could land Collier and/or Page, perhaps another top GA kid may take notice.Comment
