I like every bit of that for next year's team. Thnaks for the assessment.

[QUOTE=GoBearcats31;n399984]Wes Miller on Thomas, from last night's radio show:

Some guys are really fast with the ball in the open court but maybe they can get sped up and out of control. ---- Mikey Saunders
He's going to come here and he has no entitlement; we didn't have to promise him one minute of playing time. He wanted to be at Cincinnati. He took some other visits to some other Big 12 schools too, so I'm pretty excited about getting him." - If he earns it and wants to be here , He is already a favorite. Off to the races

Wes Miller on Thomas, from last night's radio show:

"He's a lead guard that is crazy explosive. He can get into tight spaces, he's really, really fast with the ball in the open court but has great control. Some guys are really fast with the ball in the open court but maybe they can get sped up and out of control. I always think about it like a sports car - he's going 60 miles per hour but it's more like 30 to him; he's at 30 physically, but it's 60 to everybody else. And then he can change gears quickly. Ball speed's great, he gets into tight spaces, which is really important when you play against great half court defenses. And then he's got the ability to be under control and make the right decision; he can raise up and shoot the ball from every level, he sees the open guy. I think Bearcat fans will like him because he gets down hill or gets out in transition and (if) he gets near the rim, he'll jam it. He's 6 feet and he'll jam it on you... I think he's an exciting player, he's a competitive player, he's got an edge that I think Bearcat fans will really relate to... he had no Division 1 offers a year and a half ago coming out of high school, he's in South Carolina and you know it's COVID, so there's some reasons but he's got a little chip on his shoulder and he could've gone and taken a Division 2 scholarship, he had a couple options there and chose to bet on himself to go to junior college in Texas, sight unseen, Kilgore, Texas, and ends up being part of a team that goes to the junior college national finals and now a lot of people think he's the best player in junior college, if not one of the best two or three... He's going to come here and he has no entitlement; we didn't have to promise him one minute of playing time. He wanted to be at Cincinnati. He took some other visits to some other Big 12 schools too, so I'm pretty excited about getting him."

Also, for those of you with ESPN+ (I am not among them), Kilgore will be on ESPN+ on Saturday at 4:30 https://twitter.com/KilgoreMBB/statu...Cz4bWKi4EtAAAA

That's for High School. JuCo transfers can sign a Grant in Aid anytime as far as I know.

So I'll get ahead of this one:

    2023 commits:
    - Rayvon Griffith (FR)
    - Jizzle James (FR)
    - DaVeon Thomas (JR)

    Potential returnees:
    - Dan Skillings (SO next year)
    - Josh Reed (SO next year)
    - Sage Tolentino (SO next year or a RS-FR if he gets a medical redshirt)
    - Viktor Lakhin (RS-JR next year)
    - Jarrett Hensley (SR next year)
    - Mika Adams-Woods (one year of eligibility left)
    - Jeremiah Davenport (one year of eligibility left)
    - Ody Oguama (one year of eligibility left)
    - Landers Nolley (one year of eligibility left)
    - John Newman III (one year of eligibility left if he gets a medical redshirt)

13 scholarships, technically that is 13 there. But obviously there is always going to be some movement.
