Yes, the numbers 4, 12 (Big O), and 27 (Twyman) are retired.
Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

Is UC on the lower end of the quantity of retired men’s basketball numbers?

I would say yes. We only have the 4 total including Cheryl Cook in WBB. Why Jordan Thompson is not up there yet, I’ll never know. Seems like some of these issues and the Football Ring of Honor need to be addressed but this is a whole thread of its own and one that comes up every year or two.

From the modern era, Steve Logan, Sean Kilpatrick & Deonta Vaughn would seem like possible additions. Deonta especially given he played during a rebuild and is top 5 all time in 3 categories (scoring, assists & steals). From the National
Championship era, maybe George Wilson or Ron Bonham.

Cincinnati, thoughts on Coach Miller and his staff, plus the direction of the program?

“The program is headed in a great direction under the staff. When I went on my first unofficial visit there and I started talking to Coach Miller, I could immediately tell how important the game was to him and how much he wanted it for his players. His energy is infectious and it’s a plus being at an Ohio school and me being from here.”
