Chad Brendel commented that Wingfield's decision to open his recruitment back up resulted from schools not paying as much attention to him as he expected. Chad said that Wingfield has been merely "ok" this summer.

agreed 100% --- let the Cats be wise with the money although look at the press they might get here. I rather have press for making the tourney and winning the X game.

I doubt if the young man has any real interest in UC nor will he end up here. I think that it is a play by his group to show some sort of nostalgia to UC to keep the other schools sharp. I hope that I am wrong but it seems like he prefers the south.
