Jaxon Richardson 2026 NV SG 6'5 offer

Jaxon is the younger son of Jason Richardson from the NBA. We are also looking at his older brother Jase in the class of '24. The Richardsons play for power house Bishop Gorman Prep in the Las Vegas area. Jaxon has already been offered by UNLV.

Jaxon will be transferring to Columbus High in MiamiFL for next year. Columbus is private catholic prep school where the Boozer twins are also currently enrolled.

Adam Zagoria tweeted that Jaxon is expected to visit UC this week

Also here is a write up the other day https://www.zagsblog.com/2024/12/30/...liday-classic/

Jaxon Richardson, a five-star in the class of 2026, continues to excel with Christopher Columbus High School (FL.), dropping 11.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1 assist across three games at the Jordan Holiday Classic at Baruch College in New York.
            ...

Richardson broke down some of his suitors postgame:

Cincinnati: “I’ve definitely been watching them for a couple of years now. My brother actually had them in their Top-8 when they were recruiting him. They’ve been calling me and texting me every day. I’m looking forward to the visit, for sure.”

UC remains actively in pursuit of JR, per Joe Tipton

Still gonna be hard to beat Michigan State unless Izzo retires soon

Good catch, makes me think there's a greater chance (not that MSU couldn't jump in ... somewhat related, wonder how much longer Izzo will be there)

My thoughts exactly. Izzo is 70 years old.

There was some talk that Richardson wanted to forge his own path.
