  • Patton Pinkins 2025 TX SG 6’5 offer

Pinkins picks up an offer today from the staff. Looks like Chad Dollar is the lead recruiter here. He plays for Frenship HS in Wolfforth TX. That is spelled correctly. Frenship is near Lubbock so we’re in TTU’s backyard here.

PP is interested in visiting UC, though given that his dad is an assistant at Ole Miss, I'd imagine that will be a tough school to beat

Out of the schools that have shown interest in his game, Pinkins says he is interested in visiting Cincinnati, LSU, and Wake Forest. He discussed the three programs with 247Sports:

Cincinnati: "I talked to Chad Dollar. My dad used to coach with him and they are best buddies. The conversation with him was super cool. He told me about how he and my dad went way back. After that, he offered me."

LSU: "My dad used to coach there and I lived in Baton Rouge. The coaching staff sticks out to me. It is a nice town. They love basketball and the atmosphere is huge."

Wake Forest: "They called right at midnight. We talked about how my high school season went and how the grassroots season is going. My mom grew up in North Carolina. I have visited the campus before and it is super nice. It is a nice college town."

Outside of three schools he plans on visiting, Pinkins also says he has thought about playing at Ole Miss for his father.

"My dad used to coach there before and he is back there now," Pinkins said. "It is a great college town and they have great food. They love basketball and football. I would love to play for them one day."
