Per Chad Brendel, since Allen is under 18 (needing parental signatures) and he's away at prep school, they're working on the logistics. He's expected to sign this week.

I'm assuming that is because we are all excited and amazed at the work CWM has done in recruiting. And I certainly do applaud the job he has done, but unfortunately he has failed to incorporate these recruits with portal transfers and on into wins in every season since being here. And to give him the benefit of doubt I realize that he took the program into the "best bball conference" We bearcat fans are all awaiting this upcoming season to see how this current product pans out. With that said, Welcome Mr. Allen.

I think this is a sneaky good signing despite his ranking . He jumped into the Top 50 after a big summer in AAU and I think we got him on the way up so to speak.

He was top 20 in July 2024, top 25 to start the summer, now top 50 in 247 rankings for whatever that is worth

Another guy who is great to add to the fold, but only matters if UC can dance this year and Wes is still here in 2026.
