For my money...
ESPN - clueless in general on rankings
247- Pretty good. Chad is good. The national website has gotten sluggish on updates in both sports since CBS bought them but the rankings are usually decent.
Rivals - Rivals was always better on football and lags behind in general these days.
On3 - Better in football. They're trying to get up to speed. on everything still. Relatively new site.
One thing to know about the ranking service sites..
Shannon Terry, the guy who started Rivals, sold it to Yahoo who then bought out Scout. He then founded 247Sports which he sold to CBS Interactive. Then he founded On3 which he hasn't sold yet obviously because it's new. A lot of the guys that work for these sites just follow him from place to place. Some of the people at On3 have recently jumped from 247 as CBS becomes a corporate overlord. Steve Wiltfong is the latest example.
On3 will eventually get better on maybe even pick up a Cincinnati site but for right now there's only a few guys on there I'd trust for basketball.

I have not seen a date on his announcement but he's done with visits so it should be soon.

I believe Day Day, CJ, and Hickman will exhaust eligibility this year. That might explain it.Originally posted by swilsonsp4 View Post
The staff are targeting guards, as all of the players mentioned for UC in that article are.

Chad Brendel has stated a few times that the staff will add two frosh, perhaps a third. It’s highly unlikely that they exceed that. It would sap their available NIL reserves, which are needed to sign transfers. In the B12 last season, only four frosh were major contributors (excluding Okie State, which had three, but the team never jelled. They had too much inexperience).

Also, if you haven't clicked the Zasblog link, do it!. There are no less than 5 other recruits mentioned in the blog that UC is in the mix on.
