Fran Fraschilla: "@GoBearcatsMBB [might] be most underrated program in @Big12Conference. Very good young coach, great tradition & city, good roster & recruiting momentum."

            On3 commitment article
            https://www.on3.com/news/4-star-pg-k...to-cincinnati/

“I chose Cincinnati because when I stepped on campus it felt like home,” he said. “The guys on the team, we vibed and that meant something to me. Coach Miller and the staff recruited me very heavily and built a great relationship. What allowed me to trust the staff was how real and upfront they were with me. Everything was genuine.”

            247 article
            https://247sports.com/college/basket...ti--236554824/

"The whole program, and staff built a great relationship with me, my mom, the City Rock coaches, and New Hampton coaches,” Tillery told 247Sports. “They made me feel like I belong with that program. It was a whole list of things that played out perfectly that lead me to my decision."

"They also had the best opportunity for me as a freshman," Tillery continued. "Obviously I have to work my way up to get any type of minutes, but I'm willing to put in the work. They presented me with everything I wanted which was a place that made me feel like home."

"They have great guards like Day Day (Thomas) and Jizzle (James). They played a majority of the minutes last year. Day Day is physical, has good IQ, and looks comfortable along with Jizzle. They're overall dogs and I fit into that mode."
"I feel like Coach Miller and the staff are bringing the program to new heights,” he said. "They have a goal in mind so I'm going to come in and do whatever it takes to impact winning regardless of my role."

That's a huge leap! Uusally once they commit, they go the opposite direction.

It just shows how meaningless the rankings really are. Nice to see though.
