    Baba Miller 7' F transfer commit (FAU)

    @DraftExpress
    "NEWS: FAU transfer Baba Miller has committed to Cincinnati, agents Guillermo Bermejo and Deirunas Visockas told ESPN. The versatile 7-foot, 21-year-old Spanish PF is a significant addition for Wes Miller, forming a supersized frontcourt with 7'2 center Moustapha Thiam."

    His commitment graphic shows him wearing 18 -- that's a new one for basketball.

      This looks to be a final piece to a roster overhaul that significantly improves down low scoring and rebounding. My only hope is now the guards will have to pass at least a little bit more.
      Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

      Intimidate! Dominate! Celebrate!

        or get a couple of 7 footers shoes up their you know what. Have KMart give the big guys the advice he gave his point guard when he wasn't getting the ball.

              Just outside the top 100 in On3's portal rankings, just inside top 150 on 247

                Yeah K-Mart told them to give him the ball but Bob wrote it on the board in a huddle. Get Kenyon the ball. Every time.

                  the clips of that depaul game, where he went nuts, are still out there - came across a few months ago - beyond the physical ability, Kmart had that drive - he just wasn't going to not give everything he had. loved to watch him play

                    Back to Baba Miller. I am excited to see Baba and Thiam. The stats may tell a different story, but I believe our lack of rebounding accounted for too many second chance points, while our second chance points were lower than average. You can never have too many big men, so having Haynes, McKinley and Dzellat will bring the beef needed for the Big 12.

                      I will just assume at this point Dzellat won't be a big factor. But it's interesting how when Haynes committed he seemed to immediately fill a need as a big body who can bang in the Big 12 and he's actually the smallest (height-wise) of all the bigs and clearly will have some competition for PT.

                      Miller and Thaim seem like intriguing prospects, but we'll have to see how Wes and staff can fit the pieces together. Don't have the roster continuity of last year (which clearly didn't help) but have a good mix of talent and hopefully more toughness, other intangibles.

                      For what it is worth, Baba essentially shot the same FT % as Aziz this past year with slightly more attempts.

                          Wes: "Baba is a great addition to our team. He's an extremely versatile player that fits well with the other players on our roster. On the court he combines great positional length with a high basketball IQ and skill set. We also like his experience. He's played three years of college basketball, but he also has impactful experience playing with the Spanish National Team and Real Madrid."
