Chad Brendel reported on last night's Bearcat Bounce Podcast that 2026 IMG Academy center Hakeem Weeks (where ex-Bearcat Marcus Sikes is the head coach) is visiting campus.

Weems is a 6'9, 170 lbs 3-star recruit who is currently ranked 252nd nationally on 247.

There doesn't appear to be any other news of his visit online, although there was a tweet from last week highlighting CJC's recent visit to IMG Academy.

Weems's recruiting page states that he holds offers from Boise State, Georgia State, Navy, and Yale.

That is his reported weight. Calhoun has said that he always adds walk-ons for developmental purposes, rather than just practice fodder. That's what he did with David Iweze at USU. I would imagine that Weems would fit that description. He won't weigh anywhere close to 170 when Mike Rehfeldt gets done with him (given that Weems commits here).
