Payton Jones just cut his list to seven schools. UC made the cut. He'll make an announcement on 10/17/26. The other contenders include strong suitors: UH, Okie State, Clemson, MD, Baylor, BC.

Announcement is now tomorrow between UC, Clemson, Maryland and Oklahoma State. He's +/- for features in the 2027 class per 247.

I find it encouraging that--with the list of offers--UC is the first to schedule a visit. Not necessarily for this particular recruitment, but overall. It's clear that CJC and his staff are not messing around.
