Trey is Julian Sam's (2029) older brother and recently reclassified to 2028. He was originally 2027. I'm going make an educated guess and say this was so they can play together. Trey has visited several regional schools and It looks like by the reaction to to his Instagram post, he was waiting for this offer.

The Sam brothers played for Centerville last season. I saw them play at Cintas against Wyoming. Julian Sam clearly was the Elks' most talented player. Good shooter. Being so young, he had some "quiet" moments. He also needs to strengthen. The Cowboys, despite being a D4 school, handled Centerville (D1) by nine. Wyoming's primary players were all four-year starters who blew away all competition in the D4 playoffs.Comment
