I'd like to think that UC has a chance to be solid and perhaps the projection above might be closer to their floor, rather than ceiling. If -- at minimum -- the team is trending towards 20+ wins and what might amount to an NIT berth, not too shabby. But I think they can be even better.

Also, FWIW, Torvik projects Kansas State at #159, but the other nine Big 12 schools are ranked between #1 (Baylor) and #41 (Iowa State).
