USF finally broke into the AAC win column, pulling away from a depleted ECU in Greenville, 81-70. The Pirates were without the services of Javon Small, who lit up UC for 23 Wednesday night, but tweaked his knee.
In the second game of the day, both visiting Memphis and Temple launched brick after brick. At one point in the second half, the two teams had combined for 7/49 shooting from beyond the arc. Midway through the second half, the Owls pulled up by nine, only to see Kendric Davis come alive, sparking a comeback for a 59-56 Memphis lead.. Eventually, Damian Dunn hit a trey that tied the game at 59 with just a few seconds remaining. After Penny called TO at 02.1, the Tigers inbounded under their basket to Davis, who hit a running jumper at the horn. Final: Memphis, 61-59. The Tigers were missing three players because of injury, although DeAndre Williams and Davis played.

Houston had trouble at home with USF. They were playing without Jarrace Walker however.
UCF looks like a borderline tournament team this year. They took down Memphis in double OT last night.
Tulane cameback to beat SMU in Dallas last night.
