Back to back directional Kentuckys . NKU is on the schedule this year and we're going across the bridge and river for this one. This is the return game from the scheduling deal we made with them for using BB&T arena during 5/3 renovations.

NKU is off to a 1-1 start with a loss to Kent state and a blowout win over UC-Clermont. Chris Brandon is a rebounding machine so far this season at 14.5 rpg. Scoring is led by Marques Warrick at 16 ppg. The offense looks reasonably balanced. Just in looking at the roster they have two 7'0 guys and neither of them play or score much. Brandon is the only other height on the team at 6'8 that plays minutes.

Sam Vinson, 2021-22 Freshman of the Year in the Horizon League, sprained his ankle in the Kent State opener and is considered "day-to-day." He was apparently in a boot for the UC-Clermont game, though it would make sense -- if not too serious -- for him to rest up for a game versus actual UC than to run him out there versus UC-Clermont.

The aforementioned Warrick was preseason First Team Horizon League, while Trevon Faulkner and Vinson were on the Second Team.
