Well it was nice to see JD drive and dump off for a change instead of launching from Uranus. Hopefully he can realize that you are allowed to get closer to the basket.

Well that remains to be seen. But he seems to passing the ball as little more. And it's been a very long time since I've seen him dribble into traffic. So here's hoping.

I hope that Skillings stays for awhile because his potential is sky high. He could easily become a bearcat nation fav.

Isn't it horrible to say that. But in these days of the portal.

Yes it is. It's terrible to obtain a sort of bond with a player, watch him develope and then he transfers out. I remember watching a skinny kid come in for his first game as as freshmen missing the first few shots he ever took. Then four years later becoming a first team all American and the first draft pick in the NBA draft. Those days are gone Leo. So sad

My favorite memory of him was when he played DePaul. I was younger in good health and I went to Chicago *( eat at Nic's seafood, grab some Chicago dogs and deep dish pizza). He willed that team to a second half comeback. Great game.

KMart took the team on his back that night for a monumental comeback. Huggins told the team no one takes a shot until Kenyon touches the ball. Dermar took the winning shot but hesitated trying to remember if Kenyon touched it. Great game.

Agreed. It was the most greatest example of one man completely taking over and dominating a game on offense and defense. He was in a completely different atmosphere that day. I still look that game up on you tube occasionally to rewatch those final minutes. That game and watching Nick van Exel beating Hardaways Memphis tigers four times in one year was my all time favorite sports memories.

Is this the Rufus and Leo show? You guys need to get a room. Just bustin your chops boys.

The last 4 minutes of the first half and the first 4 minutes of the second half was outstanding team ball. Great defense, excellent passing, great low post entry passes, excellent shooting. Those 8 minutes built the working margin reflected in the final score.
Vik is a load. Very skilled for his size. Great rebounder and anticipation of where the ball is going.
Nolley is going out of his way to facilitate and his passing has been excellent, almost to a fault as he is passing up lots of good shots for himself. Becoming a real leader.
Ody deserved more minutes. He is looking for his offense and really elevating his game. We need a second low post presence and he is providing.
JD doesn't need to play on nights he is not shooting well. He couldn't throw it in the ocean tonight and got waaaay too many minutes.
I really believe if Hensley had the long leash JD gets that he would be a monster. He is so close and only needs extended minutes to get more comfortable.
The pups are doing great. Skillings gives great effort and wants so badly to be an offensive force. Great nose for the ball. Reed very solid and gonna be a player also.
MAW and DD played very solid games.

Mercy had a couple very good offensive players that repeatedly scored against good defense.
Time for the real bullets to start flying. I am guardedly optimistic and hopeful. Lets shock the world Cats!

Looking at the box score on ESPN, a couple things stood out:
                            - Lakhin had a monster game in 30 minutes with 0 fouls
                            - Davenport missed 10 threes but also managed 5 assists

One of the most incredible individual performances

RedDog's synopsis was spot on. Vik is getting better and better the more minutes he gets. I too believe Hensley could be the other low presence if given the pt. It looks like the guys are finally starting to learn how to play together, they just need to do so for extended periods. Still too much playing for "me" on the floor. MAW is looking better than he has the last two years, he and DDJ are slowly finding their roles. Houston looming early in the schedule so here's hoping the learning comes faster.

Now you can feel included RD! 😀😀😀 Everyone please stay safe through this storm approaching and I wish all a very Merry Christmas and New year.
