    East Carolina 1/11 9:00 ESPNU

    Last go around hosting ECU. Send em home with a loss. It's 90s at 9 Night so maybe we'll hit 90 on the scoreboard as well.

    Strange things going on in Pirate land. They're 10-7 and 1-3 in conference. The lone conference win was @ Wichita St. They've lost to Erik Martin's SC State team but beaten South Carolina, which is their only W of note. Javon Small and Brandon Johnson are the guys to stop on defense. The combo of Johnson and center Ludgy Debaut might give us some issues rebounding when they are on the floor together. Debaut doesn't play a lot of minutes but rebounds at a decent rate. Johnson leads the team in boards. The guards rebound well for this team as well.

    The Pirates led at the half in Memphis by seven but collapsed under withering pressure and turned it over 22 times. ECU are not a great shooting team (41.5% FG, 32.3% 3P, 67.5% FT).

    Three starters average at least 30 minutes per game.

          the early game is over so we should see the game. CWM spoke on how much Kalu E. has improved especially on defense and boxing out. He has worked hard in practice. A sign of improvement is welcomed.

                              I know, I know. Seemed like at least 5-7 came in
                              garbage time tho. He just didn’t look engaged to me,
                              maybe I’m wrong. Didn’t seem like he was playing
                              hard, was losing the ball a bit, just didn’t seem
                              crisp. Nothing wrong with 20 & 10 tho.
