The effort was about 500% better in the 2nd half. It would be interesting to see if there is any paint left on the locker room walls after that halftime. They got it going, and our is just crazy when the guys compete.

The Cats won by 19 without Lakhin, their best big man. USF were missing Tchewa, but Lakhin is a better player. They didn't shoot well in the first half and had a brief stint at the end of the half where the D leaked. It's to their credit that they snapped out of it and buried the Bulls.

The Big 12 has the greatest number of teams in this list of the 25 best teams in the last month of the regular season. No other conf. has more the three ( that I can see ) and just two from the American. This either tells us that A) we need to start the season better prepared and / or B) we are peaking at the right time. If we can win out on our conference schedule perhaps a NIT bid is in the cards. Winning the conference tourney will get us in the big dance. Yes? Any takers? Go 'cats.
