    Preseason Poll vs. actual finish (based on conference tournament seeds)
    1. Kansas -- finished 6th (NCAA #4 seed, lost in round two)
    2. Houston -- finished 1st (NCAA #1 seed, currently in Sweet 16)
    3. Texas -- finished 7th (NCAA #7 seed, lost in round two)
    4. Baylor -- finished 3rd (NCAA #3 seed, lost in round two)
    5. TCU -- finished 8th (NCAA #9 seed, lost in round one)
    6. Kansas State -- finished 10th (NIT)
    7. Iowa State -- finished 2nd (NCAA #2 seed, currently in Sweet 16)
    8. Texas Tech -- finished 4th (NCAA #6 seed, lost in round one)
    9. West Virginia -- finished 14th with interim coach

    Tad's been there for 14 years now, I didn't realize it's been that long. He's had a very solid run there for a program without much basketball history since the 60s.

    Not sure. Their coach (Tad Boyle) is in good standing but not sure if he's exploring other high-major jobs.

    Colorado just lost their 4th and 5th leading scorers (6'6 J'Vonne Hadley, 11.6 ppg & 6'11 Eddie Lampkin 10.6 ppg) to the transfer portal this morning and are expected to lose their top 3 scorers to the draft this summer.

    I just got triggered thinking about #16 DePaul upsetting No. 9 UC in the 2009 Big East Tournament... fortunately, no one remembers this and UMBC and Fairleigh Dickinson have re-defined what it means for a #16 seed to win a tournament game in March.

    OK State just fired Mike Boynton. As far as I know, they let him get back to Stillwater, unlike the UT State AD this week.

    Bearcats need a Senior Day win over WVU AND a Kansas State home loss against Iowa State to secure the #10 seed.

    It appears as if multiple teams could still end up as the #7 seed based on Saturday's results and the ensuing tiebreakers.
    I dug a little deeper into this weekend's schedule, projections, and tiebreakers, and identified the most likely #7 seed as TCU.
