    Texas Christian 2/24 3:00 ESPN+

TCU's arena is sold out and the secondary market was pretty slim pickings the last I checked. Schollmaier Arena reminds of the Roundhouse at Wichita St. I've attended a couple of games at TCU way back in the CUSA days. The place has been expanded and remodeled since then and now seats 8500. I haven't been back since it expanded so I'm curious if it gets loud now. It used to be the that sound went right into the ceiling and disappeared.

TCU is coming off a one point loss at Texas Tech where Flop Isaac drew the foul on the last shot. They're 18-8 on the season and 7-6 in conference.

I'm not going in depth on this because the fact is, if we want to sneak into the NCAAs, we have to have this one. Lock down Miller and Tennyson and we might be ok.

I never had any issues with Spectrum, we have Alta Fiber internet(Cincinnati Bell).
I think these last issues were an issue with ESPN.
I have 3 different brand of TV's and 2 different providers; this was the first and only issue I've had.

Oh definitely. They've been doing network upgrades around here for a couple of months.

Concerning the current basketball team, win or lose, the teams they have been playing almost all seem to me to have a much better game plan. They are all constantly moving, screening, and passing to the open man. I just don't feel UC has a very good game plan and find the players stagnating, even, this late in the season. The system should be well established by the players by this time of the year whether the players are good or not.

I'll give my two cents of streaming experience. The last couple of years I had similar experiences with ESPN's ESPN3, and ESPN. Thus, I too was very skeptical of purchasing ESPN+ last year; however, I also wanted to be able to watch UC football and basketball on a much higher volume. I have a Zenith flat screen, AltaFiber cable service, Roku access and have not had any issues at all. I really enjoy, at times, tuning in during the game and be able to rewind live back to the start of the game or watch the recording later. I don't have a clue why it's better now. The equipment and service has not changed.

What really sucks is our first two Big 12 Tournament games will probably be on ESPN+. The two first round games are on it, and if we win the next round may be too. I know the new contract is supposed to be better, but we were screwed this year.
I have had no problems. I am happy to be able to watch the team.

Not to mention women's basketball softball, volleyball, soccer (including Euro pro). Well worth under $10 for me.

I don't think that's the problem. I have a Vizio and last night was the 1st time I've ever had any issues with watching ESPN+ and that was only during the 1st 15 minutes. It seemed to straighten out after that, but I eventually switched TV's and moved to a room with a fireplace.

I don't know what's going on with the Cats but that whooping seemed to really take the wind out of their sails. Actually, they've seemed to be off (by that I mean disheartened) since the Iowa game, to me that game hurt them bad.

I began to think that the problem was in the Disney, Hulu bundle which is where I obtained the ESPN+. So I terminated that and just subscribed to plus on its own. It continues to hiccup and buffer repeatedly. The only time it has not done this was on the Iowa St. game. I have now began exiting out and re acquiring into live action. I did this twice last evening before it ceased. I have even logged into "my Internet provider" before and disconnected some of my devices in order to obtain more speed / power and it still continued. I have no such issues with other streaming formats i.e. Netflix, Amazon prime, Pluto, Peacock. My next try will be switching televisions. As my wife can't stand bball I go downstairs to the grandkids play room to watch these games and the TV down there is a 42 inch Vizio.

The constant buffering and hiccuping as it's called ( repeating a two sec segment repeatedly and constantly throughout the stream is getting too exhausting to tolerate. I thought it was on my end because it was happening every time but I checked my Internet connections and speed and everything was fine. So I will not be re-upping my subscription at seasons end.
