You guys should have seen some of the calls in the women's tournament. The fix was in for the top seeds. Several clear phantom fouls or violations called against Iowa St and West Virginia that were even upheld on replay.

The Vik thing is really puzzling. I can't imagine we see him back next year unless there's something up that we just don't know. Anyway best of luck to him going forward.

I’ll say it’s about the worst officiating I’ve seen in a long time, worse than anything I saw in the AAC. It should have been intentional when Aziz was shoved from behind on the missed dunk, and a horrible call on the Skillings clean block that gave ISU three FT’s. We also lost the game at the line, we were 11-17, they 20-27.

I’ll say one thing, losing in the NIT doesn’t sting as much as losing in the NCAA.

I agree with this. I know it is the end of the season and he is no long a freshmen but his minutes tell a different story. We lost this game because of bad officiating but also because we had a 11 assists to 13 turnovers. Before anyone starts James had 5 assists to 3 TO. Not great but also not awful especially for someone who played almost all of the game. I knew on some of his shots he was going to miss because he was hustling all over the place and had to be tired from sprinting up and down the court. Indiana State had 18 assists to 8 TO's and that is what I feel one the game for them. The no look pass from that one guy running down the court was just fantastic. They were a very skilled team.

I'm going to miss Newman and still have no idea what has happened to Vik.

I think we outplayed them...shot better from 2 and 3.....they had help from the refs..and yes our turnovers
..played a good team on the road..where they almost always got 90...not mad at them or wes...still most mad at a travel not called against Texas.. I'll be ready for next season....tomorrow

Wow Bandago's right arm is clearly being held with both hands by the googles guy on that last free throw. The guy didn't even attempt to hide it. That guy got away with so many blantant calls in this game and so did some of his teammates with all of the pushing off with both hands totally extended when moving around. I can't tell you how many over the backs were missed by the refs it was so many. Glad to see Wes stick up for his guys and get the tech too. Sometimes you have to defend your guys as a coach.

I don't like to blame the refs but that was the worst officiating I have seen all year which really took away form a great game. I was fine with losing this game because I thought this is a really good team we are playing and the offense they were running is an offense I would love to see us run. Those back door screens were a work of art. However, our guys did not deserve to lose on so many missed calls.

Still proud of this team and very excited for next year. Hoping we work on a couple of defenses during the summer so we can stop teams like this with those back door cuts. Would have loved to have seen some zone this year or full court press. Maybe next year.

Only 5pts from the bench. That won't get it done in a shootout.

I've got to agree with this in this case. They actually matched up well on the wings with Skilling/Neuman, they had a decent point guard who could shoot. Wes had one advantage, his vaunted depth. He should have been rotating his three big me in constantly and making Larry Nerd play D on every possession. Instead he doesn't even play Lahkin, who probably is the guy that matched up the best against him.

There is not reason that that guy wasn't in foul trouble if you focused on getting the ball inside and making him stop people.

I'm happy for Indiana St. I wanted us to win of course, but I like seeing mid majors get exposure on a national stage. The Sycamores are a fun team.

Man, that stinks to lose that game, but what an ending! If that isn't March basketball, I don't know what is.

53 points allowed in the second half. Can't win with that kind of defensive effort.

Really poor second half defense. We got exposed on some very simple actions, reverting to old habits instead of the scouting report.
