    TBD:
    Big 12 schedule (20)

    OOC ???

Big 12 Tournament dates TBD but second week of March
    Kansas City, Missouri

    NCAA Tournament March 18-April 7
(first/second round games in Denver, Providence, Lexington, Wichita, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Raleigh and Seattle)

    Notes:
    - Howard is supposed to play at UC this year, per report last year https://collegehoops.today/rothstein...ashington-d-c/
    - Xavier game presumably in December; would be nice to play these later
    - UC agreed to a 3-year deal, including two games at NKU, as part of deal to utilize NKU's arena in 2017-18 (this game should be November 13, 2024 if they still plan to go there) https://gobearcats.com/news/2021/9/2...arting-in-2022
    - Georgia Tech return game date TBD; assuming it is in November https://gobearcats.com/news/2023/8/1...on-nov-22.aspx
    - UC to play at Villanova in the Big East-Big 12 Battle https://big12sports.com/news/2024/4/...announced.aspx
    - UC press release for last year's Dayton game said it was a "one-year agreement with an option for a second year" https://gobearcats.com/news/2023/7/1...-downtown.aspx; Jon Rothstein now reporting UC and UD are working to finalize an agreement to play downtown again https://collegehoopstoday.net/rothst...t-next-season/
    - Big 12 schedule should consist of 20 games this season, instead of 18 https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...18-women-games
Not a bad schedule. Would be interesting to see if UC will schedule maybe two more Power 5 schools. Would, perhaps, give them more of an NCAA Tournament type of non-conference schedule.

Their coach got hired away by James Madison. They lost their top 5 scorers to graduation/the portal. Their top returning player is 5th-year 6'10 Xavier transfer Dieonte Miles who averaged 5 & 5 last season. They got two low major transfers - neither of whom were starters last season. I'm not expecting them to be super competitive.

    Speaking of Dayton...
    DaRon Holmes - 20.4 ppg -- NBA
Nate Santos - 11.7 ppg -- recently hit the portal
    Koby Brea - 11.1 ppg -- portal
Kobe Elvis - 9.4 ppg -- portal (Oklahoma)

Top four scorers from this year's squad -- who, by the way, scored 76 of UD's 82 points versus UC back in December

Disappointed it's a weeknight. Would've happily made the trip from NYC for a weekend game.

11 OOC games is the number Chad has been referencing while having early schedule discussions on his podcast over the past few weeks.

I'd be pretty happy with this being the meat of our OOC schedule if it came to fruition.

For comparison, last season's OOC schedule included 10 home games, 2 road games, and 1 neutral site game and produced 2 Q1, 2 Q3, and 9 Q4 match-ups. It ended up being ranked #297 on KenPom.
