Per Jon Rothstein, Day Day Thomas has been cleared for basketball activity. This doesn’t mean he’s quite ready to go. He’ll need to catch up conditioning etc. looks like he’s likely to be ready for the season though

Mid-way through, you can see Day Day (lightly, perhaps) going up for a dunk. I'd say he's definitely on track.
