He literally did get that production out of Vik, who averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds in his mostly healthy 2022-23 season. Even last year he averaged 9 and 6 which isn't far off.

Jamille had 4 turnovers, 5 fouls, zero blocks, zero offensive rebounds, a game worst negative 6.5 defensive BPM, and a team worst negative 5.2 net points. Not exactly "setting the world on fire".

        Scott Springer:

Dan Skillings Jr didn’t participate in walk through today and is not expected to play tonight for @GoBearcatsMBB vs @MSUEagles #Bearcats. Probably more of a precaution. Ditto Day Day Thomas.

This is the best ball movement I've seen in the last 4 years. Players are moving and not standing around. Looks good so far.

I have an idea why, but most won't agree.

                      Skillings energy is sorely missed!

Looks like the players are buying into playing defense more this year too. Maybe Wes is getting more adamant about playing defense or you sit. Mitchel's d is really impressive

Yeah, Mitchell looks great defensively! He moves really well.. Needs to work on his FT shooting.

enjoyable and groovy game. Nice inside game on offense.

Player of the game is again Simas with 9.6 net points and 25.5 BPM. Mitchell wasn't far behind with a 22.5 BPM including a game high 8.2 defensive BPM. The duo combined for 28 points on only 14 shots with 9 assists and zero turnovers.

Hickman had the worst game with negative 6 net points. Rayvon was again the worst player in limited minutes with a negative 35 BPM. The game still seems too fast for him.

We went 27 for 39 inside the arc. Good to see the offense distribute the ball and get to the rim.

                                Two games. Two blow outs.

Unfortunately no game for a week. Prob good for Skillings and Thomas though.
