    Not really. In one sense, it's lateral (both AAC), but UNT have outperformed Tulane (per KenPom) by a great distance for at least the past six seasons. It has to be easier to recruit to a school near DFW than it is to Tulane, whose facilities are underwhelming, including a gym that seats fewer than 4K fans. UNT is a large state university (40K students), while Tulane is a great academic institution that is at a disadvantage as a private school in attracting basketball talent.

    I think it's an upgrade. Same conference and North Texas has been a perennial top 75 team under McCasland and Hodge. Much bigger school too.

    The Mean Green are in the Final 4 of the Postseason NIT.

    Nothing is final, but Hodge - who worked w/ WVU AD Wren Baker at UNT - is under strong consideration to replace Darian DeVries.
