Rothstein — Sources: Utah State's Jerrod Calhoun is finalizing a new deal that will make him the second highest-paid coach in the MWC behind San Diego State's Brian Dutcher.

LOL Ouch! There is some truth to that. But didn't he go 31-5 one year at Memphis? Granted that was Conference USA so it wasn't the hardest conference schedule.

It is amazing how former coaches are recycled. I guess win-loss record does not mean a lot.

And Mack is their primary target? Maybe Gillen could step in for a minute before they hire Mack.

Well Miller used X again as a stepping stone. I guess congrats to him for taking the Texas Job.

Colorado State associate head coach Ali Farokhmanesh -- of Northern Iowa over Kansas fame -- is the potential successor to Medved at CSU, per Jeff Goodman

I agree with DAH. How a catholic instituion can hire these cheaters & gangsters are beyond comprehension. Watch the UC vs XU at XU & the students are constantly yelling FU UC. With the president of the college
in attandance & not wanting to stop it. I'm a catholic & I am embarassed by their actions/no actions. St. John's coach should be referred to as "Quick Rick."

i'm a life long catholic, but like mumbo jumbo nonsense, the hypocrisy of certain catholic institutions (ok, most of them) never ceases to amaze me. sean miller comes back. the prodigal son. chris mack coming back? the prodigal son, part two? what, norwood college couldn't find any ax murderers with ties to their "school" - you know, the place where they'll "zip 'em up", or drop their trousers at a bar?

i think its funny when a lot of UC fans would unequivocably never give huggs a second chance. but, our "principled", religious counterpart has no trouble bringing back **** bags, time after time. like st john's picking up that horny little guy, little ricky pitino. (no stats, but I think little ricky qualifies as a horn dog).

i',m not necessarily advocating for huggs, but, in this day and age, i think i'd rather see him than wes.
