Haven't read any of the thread, but it seemed like nku had an ungodly number of shots bounce around the rim and fall through. late in the game, some didn't fall, but, for most of the game, they couldn't miss. i think they shot 60% in the first half. the one thing that bothered me, was that uc got outrebounded - shouldn't happen

I saw a note from Chad Brendel that, when Jizzle or Simas were assigned to guard Sam Vinson in the first half, Vinson repeatedly beat them. However, CWM put Connor Hickman on him after halftime, which completely took Vinson out of their offense.

I looked at the play-by-play at gobearcats.com and found that, when Hickman was in after the half, Vinson failed to score. When Hickman was out, Vinson scored four points. Vinson played all but the final 1:10 of the second half.

He hit a big shot and then a steal which sparked the team. I believe him to be a valuable player. Reed and Page were not much help last night as Page just doesn't rebound even while in position. Betsey is young and CWM is giving him more time so as not to overwhelm him. I look forward to the growth in Tyler. CJ is just a shell of his former self and Ray has to be told to shoot and he misses. This is what we got and I thought Hickman did the things which caught CWM eye while at Butler.
