Skillings play was way before being poked in the eye. I know it had to hurt, but if it was the reason for his second half, why was he in.

The play was not UC basketball. Enough said as we saw U of Confusion basketball. Is Oscar watching this excrement? I am sure KMart is and I bet he is verbal. No excuse of being on the road in high altitude. The conditions are not responsible for total lack of team play, desire and direction. CWM can be "pissed" all he wants, but this loss is on him.

The team has quit. Miller is in over his head.

Well we've come to the point in the season of a typical Cincinnati sports fan where you realize the current season is a wash so you turn to the next franchise with a new coach, new players, and new hope at least till we get to the all star break. Waiting for the thirty year lighting to strike on one of these franchises. See ya fellas

The body language of the UC players in the second half told the entire story. Fighting through screens is killing this team. It leads to giving up a lot of threes. Why would Miller play James (6'2") on Demin (6'9")? Why not play Skillings on him. It may not have made a difference anyway. The overall guard play on defense was horrible tonight.

This UC team has lost its spirit. The hustle is no longer there. UC was outscored by BYU 52 to 29 in the second half. It is as if UC gave up in the second half. The defense is no longer working and Miller refuses to try another defensive strategy.

UC is now 2-6 in the conference. UC has played 16 halves of basketball so far in the BIG XII. Guess how many halves UC has won? UC has won just 4 (four) halves of basketball out of 16 in the BIG XII. In other words, UC has now lost 75% of the halves that it has played in conference. I continue to ask myself, "is this team this bad?"

What has happened to UC basketball? I have a theory. Miller was new to the league last year. He caught a lot of teams off-guard. This year, BIG XII coaches are ready for Miller. However, whereas BIG XII coaches have adjusted to Miller's style, it appears that Miller has not made adjustments for his second stint in the BIG XII. Miller is doing the same thing this year that he did last year. He is not catching anyone off-guard this year. Thus, the losses.

Look at UC's conference wins this year. Its wins are over teams that were not in the conference last year. Miller has not beaten one coach that was in the BIG XII last year. It will be very difficult for Miller to get wins over coaches that played him last year.

I bet you all of the Bud Light in Cincinnati, nobody saw UC's season turning out like this. Huh?

I was only able to watch the last 7 minutes of the game. All I saw was UC totally inept offensively against the zone. This has been an issue for years ... Even under different coaches. It looked, honestly, like they had no idea what to do. I expect other team's scouting reports all ready indicate success will come by just putting up a zone against UC. Just curious, how much of the game did BYU play zone, anyway?
I'll watch the whole game tomorrow out of curiosity.

BYU comes here two weeks from today, if this team can’t get up for that game… who knows? I would remind them about that last three pointer about 10,000 times. Also, CWM needs to look hard at this team, he can’t just keep throwing the same lineup out there. February 8 will tell us a lot about the future.

Lost by 30 to a team that had a losing conference record going into the game. Pitiful.

Two games in a row opponents make just about everything from three. John Newman is not here anymore.

What a horrible defensive performance. BYU shooting 55% FGs and 60% from 3. Not much better on offense either.

Page and Betsey need more minutes. Live with the mistakes, they’ll get better.
