Back to old habits on offense. We took 21 shots from midrange and only got to the rim 18 times. Midrange is the only spot on the floor we outscored them. Not going to win if that's our focus. We scored 0.78 points per possession, our second lowest output of the entire season.

Skillings was our best player with 5.6 net points. He scored 7 points, all at the rim or FT line, and added 3 rebounds, 2 steals, an assist, and a block with zero turnovers and a game best 12.4 defensive BPM. If only we had that effort all season. Day Day was second best with 3.7 net points, scoring 12 from the field on 11 shots with 2 steals and an 8.5 defensive BPM. Simas also had a positive game thanks to a game high 5 assists and no turnovers.

Reed was our worst player with negative 5.1 net points, going just 1 for 9 from the field. Mitchell was just behind with negative 4.5 net points, going 1 for 4 from the field, 0 for 4 at the stripe and committing 3 turnovers. Jizzle, Aziz, and Betsey also had a negative impact on the scoring margin.

We won the turnover battle, the rebounding battle, the blocked shots battle. All the areas usually associated with toughness and effort we outperformed K State. We just have a terrible offensive philosophy.

Horrible Loss! This is a very SOFT TEAM that shows very little Heart!!!

Did not look at stats post game but while I was
watching did not witness an offensive rebound by
the Cats. Did witness poor ball handling, ball securement,
shot selection, etc.
Bandago is the most useless offensive big since

For the first time in my post UC student years, I have stopped watching UC basketball. I’ve turned down ticket offers (free) over 6x. Miller is totally ineffective and nothing will change, so I’ve decided to stop watching until he leaves. It’s not completely about winning & losing, this is low IQ basketball and just nonsense. I fully expect our two recruits to de-commit and Jizzle to hit the portal. Nothing about Miller’s UNCG experience said he was ready for major college basketball and we have all seen that play out here.

Shut it down. I would not accept a postseason invite (if that even happens). This team and coaching staff doesn't deserve it. One more year with this guy then need to clean house.

The Big 12 is obligated to send two teams to the new Las Vegas tournament, lose at OK State and they can forget that too.

UC cannot afford to buy Miller out. That is an overreaction about the recruits. Wes will be UC’s coach next year but unlikely not at the start of the ‘25-26 season.

Like I said before, this UC team is just not good enough. UC has now lost 4 of 6 games with one game left. It now has its second 2 game losing streak in 6 games. This team is not likely to win at Oklahoma State. OKSU has a win over Iowa State and are 6-3 at home in the conference.

Untimely turnovers by the guards, dumb fouls, and very unproductive wings. Despite all of the bone-headed plays, the one thing that gets to me is the fact that Jerome Tang made defensive adjustments at halftime while Miller appears to not have made any adjustments. K-State was more intense on defense late in the second half. That was the difference in the game.

Can UC still make the NIT? By the way, this is Miller's second loss in four years on Senior Night. Also, UC has now lost twice to 2 teams that are in the bottom 8 of the conference (WV and K-State). Man, that is hard to take.

I can’t believe any of you thought this UC team would make the NCAA tournament. They have been out of contention for some time now, probably after the loss at WVU. But this was an absolutely pathetic effort tonight. Shameful. The fans were right to boo.

Couldn't agree more! WVU was probably the nail in the coffin! 1-10 against Quad 1 Teams basically says it all. Best win of the year, unranked Baylor Team.

I think Reed showed improvement this year. He did not play well tonight but neither did anyone else for UC. Again, a shameful performance.

You can’t throw it inside to Aziz unless it’s a lob, same with Mitchell. That was the weakness of this team all year. This wasn’t the game for Reed, he’s just not a scorer, and tonight they needed one.
