Big 12 will go back to 18 conference games next season ... don't need to replace those two games with anyone crazy, but UC cannot schedule Alabama A&M and Coppin State in their place

Hopefully, the Cowboys will revert to their normal mediocre outside shooting (32.1%). What they did Saturday was totally uncharacteristic for Okie State this season (7 for 9, including hitting the first 6). Avery is fairly high volume and hits 35.3%, while Thompson hits at about the same clip (35.2%). Ousmane takes about one per game and does so pretty well (44.4%). The rest of the team aren't very good out there.

The betting line, after opening at UC -5.5, is holding at -6.5, but there are two outliers: Caesars -7; ESPN -7.5. I'm not sure what the bettors have been watching. Maybe it's the Cowboys' lack of performance away from Stillwater.

I think it's mostly the shooting you just mentioned. If both teams shoot their normal percentages we're the better team on a neutral floor. Torvik has us favored by 5. I'm not sure why the line has crept up a couple points, but we should be favored.

My two things aren't dependent on shooting fluctuations. They're things we can control. I'd like to see them happen win or lose, going into next year.

UC good enough to only finish in 13th place in a 16-team league. Just saw the brackets. UC may have enough to get by OKST. UC will not get by Iowa State. Good enough for only 13th place. Wow!
