Should have stayed in the AAC, where we were a big fish, in a medium sized pond.

NOPE.
I believe it will take some time, but UC is setup well to compete in the Big 12 and earn the extra income from it. People said the same thing when we joined the BEast and we rose to the occasion. The Big12 is a bigger challenge and Bearcat Nation will rise up to this challenge too.

I agree. Now if UC could elevate its basketball coaching to top 8 BIG XII levels, it would become a consistent nationally competitive program.Originally posted by BearKatz View Post
Lets stay where we're at, the recruiting is better along with the competition.

Just saw the brackets. UC may have enough to get by OKST. UC will not get by Iowa State. Good enough for only 13th place. Wow!

If he wasn't 100%, Wes should've held him back. Of course a player will look tentative if they come back too early or less than 100%. I apologize to Daniel for being critical of his play, but that is on Wes and the medical staff who erred in clearing a player too soon. I'm glad he didn't have any setbacks, but in a game where athleticism is key, especially for DSJ, bringing him back too soon could've caused a medical setback.Originally posted by longtimefan View PostDS looks to be all the way back, and it seems that the early injury slowed him more than we thought. This season could have been different.

The Utes got off to a strong start and held on before half to lead, 40-39. When they came out after the break, The Knights strangled them, eventually pulling away for an 87-72 victory. UCF will face the Jayhawks on Wednesday.
