DS was injured, he returned too early, with a brace on his knee, and he really didn’t get totally back until the last few games. He is drawing interest from top programs, which tells a lot. DS will be missed around here.

Jizzle is also a 28% career three point shooter, and he's under 48% from two. Skillings is just over 50% from two over the last couple years. Again, not great, but enough to push his effective field goal percentage above the other guards. Add in his offensive rebounding and he was a much more efficient offensive player with the same usage rate as Day Day.
Oh I agree we don't have shooters - and thats what we desperately need. You are comparing Skillings to what we have, and I am just saying I don't think he's going to be a big loss, because unless we can shoot better, we aren't going to be a top 25 team in the country. Dan has regressed and I wish him well but don't think he was going to be a part of a really good UC team. Jizzle could get better, and he needs to. I like Sencire for his defense, but there is no reason to be excited about next years team without a couple offensive adds. Losing Skillings doesn't change my outlook for UC next year, only thing that will is adding some shooting/offensive firepower beyond Abaev.

Skillings finishes his UC career 83 points shy of 1,000 points. He averaged 9.2 and 4.6 over three seasons, including 28.1% from three, 64.4% from FT, in exactly 100 games.

Reed is now gone, and out of all the transfers, I'll SMH at this one the most!

Do we not have enough Guards????? Watching some of our glaring needs from this past year, could we not use more PF & C?

Guys that could possibly muscle themselves around the basket, to get in position to rebound or score? Here's a few not currently committed, would you welcome any of these players?

    Alvaro Folgueiras 6-9 / 215
    Kennard Davis 6-6 / 215
    AJ Storr 6-7 / 205

    Jayden Quaintance 6-9 / 230
    Efton Reid 7-0 / 250
    Youssouf Singare 6-10 / 230
