  • I did not join the office pool this year. I just didn't feel like it. The majority of my company is from Purdue or Indiana, so they favor the Big 10 teams. I would have gone with Houston and would have had 3 of the final 4 teams. So much about being pissed at the Bearcats that I did not join the pool. However, I did have Duke winning it all so there is that. lol.

      • What was Sharpe thinking at the end? Wow!

        • Houston didn’t get a shot off on their last three possessions. Ouch.

          • The look on Sampsons face at the he end is to die for.

He went up to shoot off the catch, he could have picked up the ball or dribbled without a violation. How about the obvious goaltend in the first half that wasn’t called?

              • Sharpe single handedly gave that game away at the end.

He just stood there and looked at the ball?

                  • BTW, it was a very poorly officiated game, the missed goal tending was not the only blown call.

If he touches it at all it's a travel. After both feet leave the floor you have to get rid of the ball. So he basically boxed out his defender to buy time for another Houston player to grab the ball.

I watched him box out, but i thought he lost control of the ball before his feet ever left the floor... it was so close.

That’s what I thought. That play was tough, but the two previous possessions Houston turned the ball over. That was the game.

He went up to shoot but it was going to get swatted so he intentionally dropped it. He obviously knew what he did which is why he didn't even try to dribble or grab the ball.

Agree! Sharpe looked mentally worn out the previous play turning the ball over. I thought for sure Sampson would have someone take that last shot.
