Will JJ remain enrolled at UC or has he withdrawn? Just wondering whether the possibility exists for a return to the basketball team.

I hate to see him go. He was in my opinion our best offensive performer. I hope he does well whereever he ends up.

The real question is why? Does anyone know truth behind the personal issues or what has caused him to be dismissed? I know Wes said Jizzle had been dealing with personal issues, but that's a broad spectrum.

He was UCs biggest Offensive Threat entering this season.

Let's go on. I see an inside offensive game now as well as a mid range as the past performances seem to indicate. I can't be sure as nobody knows the future, but I believe there will be more teamwork without the presence of former ball hogs. Wouldn't it be nice to see CWM's offense running as he designed it.

I wonder If Jizzle would consider coming back from his leave of absence some time this season? I would think Wes would welcome him back?

I just don't think Jizzle's style of play fit in well with Wes' concept. As a point guard he was more of a scorer but had very very low assisst avg at just 3.5. I attended every home game and I can tell you he essentially dribbled around until he could find an open shot or was forced to give it up.That is not a knock on JJ.That is probably how he learned to play the game. Imagine the internal conflict that might have created for him. He thought he was doing what he was supposed to and now people are giving him flak for it! One can't blame him for thinking" I guess they just don't like me" We are going to be a better TEAM without Jizzle and the talented but wildy erratic Dan Skillings.

Chad Brendel spelled it out yesterday: Substance abuse. When Jizzle returned from Orlando after the end of the semester, he rejoined the team. He was fine until sometime in June, with his behavior deteriorating until they cut him loose about a month ago. The staff did everything they could to get him straightened out, including setting him up at Lucas's foundation. His erratic behavior, including detrimental social media posts, resurfaced recently. Although Miller had dismissed Jizzle last month, he and his staff rightfully kept this personal situation quiet. With Jizzle's recent relapse, and media swirling, they made it public that he was no longer part of the program.

Thus this mean he is free to sign elsewhere? If it does, a big win for him.

Can we all just wish the young man the best and pray that he receives the help that he needs? Then, we can close this thread.
