I hope he takes all of Kriisa's minutes. Our worst statistical categories are free throw shooting (#352) and turnovers (#271). Kriisa hurts us in both areas. A guard who never gets to the line hurts the team FT percentage because bigs are taking a larger share of FTs. He has only attempted 12 FTs (and 3 rim attempts) all year. And he has a 24% turnover rate, which is insane for a 5th year player.

Will be a good piece of Bearcat trivia in the future (even if he wasn't ever officially on the roster)

We are over quota on players taking long jumpers with inconsistent accuracy, but at this point, I'm not too sure I have much left to invest in UC football or basketball (or the Bungles, but that's another matter entirely). I think everyone wants Jizzle the person to be ok, but adding him back reeks of a desperate coach, in my mind. He was a disaster for 5 weeks last year during conference play.

Only Leo could ask a question like that . Great question. What happens to Tillery for the rest of the season?

Good call. Hopefully, James is a positive BPM for the rest of the season. It will be interesting to see how James' return impacts the team for the season. I hope it makes the team a lot better.

I really do hope the JJ is right and in game shape. If I'm not mistaken he was with the team during off season activities before his untimely dismissal. If he can come in and limit Kerr's to's and create some some midrange shots at the 8 to 10 pt. average that may perhaps take some pressure off Abaev. Maybe.

Jizzle looked like he never missed a game last. Very little to no rust, and out performed Kriisa like I thought he would.

Yeah. It is clear, without a doubt, what guard should be in starting backcourt along with Thomas. However, Coach Miller may have a different view of the situation. Regardless of what Miller thinks, we all know without a doubt what guard should be getting the most minutes along with Thomas and Abaev.

No need to mention his name because we all know who I am talking about.

Correct me if I am off base but the general belief is that Jizzle had some kind of substance abuse problem. So if he was a disaster for 5 weeks during the conference season it is reasonable to assume he was not at his best while under the influence. That is not to suggest he actually played in some altered state but if you are regularly abusing any substance then your whole day to day is subpar. So there is every reason to believe a healthy and clear headed Jizzle will perform much better on court and in life. Jizzle 2.0!

I was at the Alabama State game.Maybe I just want to believe this but Jizzle just looked happier than at any time last year.

During some dark days this spring and summer, Jizzle sent out some very negative and often incoherent social media posts. He apparently was feuding with Buck Harris over something, and it took an ugly turn. However, Jizzle and Buck were seen laughing it up together before the game. Hopefully, they've reconciled.

When it comes to reinstating a player, I am all for it if they reconcile what they have done and meet set requirements. See Eric Hick (who went home), Travis Kelce (suspended for a year) and Marty Gilyard (who lived in his car).
