Sloppy game. Looks like the same old offense, lots of iso jumpers. 15 turnovers and only 7 offensive rebounds on 27 missed field goals. Much to work on.
Tyler McKinley is the statistical player of the game. 6.0 net points and a 20.7 BPM. Only scored 2 points but added 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, and 3 steals with no turnovers with a 15.7 defensive BPM.
Sencire Harris was the best player in his time on the court, posting a 25.8 BPM with 6 points, 2 assists, and 3 steals in just 9 minutes. Hopefully he's ok. Baba Miller and Jordi Rodriguez also had nice games.
Day Day put up the worst statistical performance with negative 2.6 net points. He was 3 for 11 from the field with 4 turnovers and a team worst negative 2.3 DBPM. Abaev (poor defense) and Celestine (poor offense) also had net negative impacts.

I agree with Day Day untill the second half. he had 2 blocks and a reflection along with a rebound. Then he hit a shot. Before that he was his usual jack em up with a hurried off balance shot. CWM needs to let him know there are scorers on this team. I actually liked his second half as it gives hope. I do like what Miller did especially his drive with a dunk. Thiam played better in the last 10 minutes too. I liked Rodriguez's outside shot. I saw what I saw with Tillery after Arkansas. He is a frosh and hopefully he will learn to defend and not buy the fake and blow bys. We waited a year for Tyler and I thought he had his moments both good and bad, but mostly good. He will get better and will be needed as the interior defense needs muscle. I loved that Frenchy got some time and he can provide some good minutes. Overall, I agree that too many outside shots, little quality passing, too much rushing to shoot, failure to get down the court in transition and especially weak interior defense. These are all fixable. Can CWM do it?Originally posted by sedz View PostSloppy game. I was happy for the win and I am still learning the players especially those whom I didn't mention. Go Cats.
