Day Day's 3-point percentage on the season inching up close to 60%. Not sustainable of course, but shows what a great shooter can do with good shot selection, hopefully some of our chuckers are taking notes.

Finished the game on a 30-7 run over the final 14:16.

Another top notch effort by Day Day. We looked completely out of sync on both ends of the court when he was out of the game.

They win because of Thomas. The rest of the team has athletic ability but are undisciplined. If Miller could coach this group could be good but he can't. Louisville will expose the sloppy play as will the good coaches in the Big 12. I'm not buying that they are still getting used to playing together. What were they doing all summer?

The difference in the halves was simple, effort, which was atrocious in the first half.

We have 4 guys who could start on most teams (Day Day, Miller, Thiam and Harris) after that though, we have issues. The season will depend on how quick the other guys can figure it out.

Kriisa and Celestine are vets who can provide quality minutes in short bursts, but have too many deficiencies on defense.

The rest are young guys who are still figuring out how to play at this level.

From what I saw today, Tillery will take the majority of Kriisa's minutes by Feb. Will know a lot more come Friday against Looserville.

I feel this team has more talent than last years squad

Definitely thought that was Tillery's best game, he looked more controlled driving to the basket and smooth from three. Tough defense as well. Hope he can keep it up when the competition level steps up.
